40,000th Blanket Challenge – Part 1

In 2006, the Greater Kansas City Chapter of Project Linus turned and delivered its' 40,000th blanket to the children in the metro area. As part of our 10 Birthday celebration, blanketeers were invited to make a special blanket to compete for the honor of being declared the 40,000th blanket. Attendees at our Make a Difference Day event / 10th Birthday Celebration cast their votes for the winner with money. Approximately $117 was raised with the voting.
