Here are some pattern sources we have found useful to sew, knit, crochet
and quilt security blankets
for children in the metro Kansas City area.
There is even a no-sew fleece blanket.
Please don't limit your choices to the patterns listed here.
They are only suggestions to get started.
Your local public library is a wonderful source of pattern and
instruction books that you can borrow and use.

and our blanketeers had fun creating different designs from the
same pieces.
When you make preemie blankets, please see our
size guidelines
to make sure your blankets are large enough for our local needs.
The hospitals can not use blankets that are 12" by 12".
There are several knit and crochet preemie cap and bootie patterns at the

site. They also have a bootie pattern in the sewing patterns.
