Welcome to Project Linus of Metro Kansas City, serving the metropolitan Kansas City, Kansas / Missouri area. Project Linus is an all-volunteer organization providing security blankets to children who need a hug. We provide handmade, washable blankets for children of all ages, infants through teens. They are knitted, crocheted, quilted, woven, whatever. We also provide preemie hats, booties and blankets to neonatal ICUs. Help us by making an afghan or quilt for a child. The Project Linus of Metro Kansas City supports local hospitals,
shelters, and other
organizations that help children in traumatic situations.
At the hospitals, blankets go to pediatric wards, neonatal intensive
care units and emergency rooms.
Our
Progress and Supporters page
lists many groups
who have received Project Linus blankets.
Will you help us? It takes a village to raise a child, but an army to make those blankets. Here are many ways you can help.
